Marilyn Biggs, JM, MA Founder & Chief Executive Officer

With over 15 years in the counseling profession, Marilyn has worked in higher education and the not-for-profit sector in workforce development. Currently, Marilyn strives to collaborate with people to increase self-awareness, identify and release restrictive patterns, foster empowerment and encourage positive change. She is experienced with diverse cultures and populations in a wide variety of life situations.

Marilyn is a veteran of the United States Army.  She earned two master’s degrees. Her first master’s is in counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family. In December 2020, she obtained a juris master’s with an emphasis in human resources compliance and legal risk management. Marilyn is a certified county mediator for the state of Florida for over 20 years and a member of the Mediator Qualifications & Discipline Review Board.

Marilyn is passionate about conflict resolution and understands the importance of working in a positive and effective work environment. She strives to educate others in conflict resolution techniques, so they can be successful in their relationships and in the workplace.

Marilyn believes knowledge is power. The more you know, the better off you will be. She puts that into practice by striving to attain knowledge by learning things that will not only benefit her, but those she comes in contact with. She is always looking forward to learning something new to add to her toolbox.
